A great combination: Design + Coffee.
I had the privilege of designing for Statesboro, Georgia's new coffee roaster: Three Tree Coffee Roasters. When I was initially contacted by Anna and Philip Klayman to design their logo, I was not only excited because they are pursuing this business in my own college town, but because my husband (thankfully) has made me a coffee nerd... and it's coffee!
The Klaymans are some of the best people to work with. After working with them for some consistent time, I was even more sure they would turn out a great product. They brought me their ideal logo framework- including some awesome sketches- and we went through the process and edits of finding what they knew was best suited for Three Tree.
Philip and Anna then translated that logo into a stamp that is used for Three Tree packaging, and they made my day by sending me some sample bags! In these bags are their current offerings: a Costa Rican, an Ethiopian (Yirgacheffe) and a Mexican (Oaxaca). I decided to brew 12 ounces of the Costa Rican and documented my small, but delicious journey. A simple in-home setup, our Hario team, went to work on the beans and I got some pictures of the process.
