This is Brittany Robertson, an Atlanta-based graphic designer who became a fast friend to me last year. She is an individual that exudes joy and inspiration in her work and in spaces she occupies. After spending time with her I am refreshed, collected, ready to conquer something new! Naturally, she is a beauty and has a knack for styling, which made her the perfect candidate to model for a quick trial Contax 645 shoot for me.
I was not familiar with the section of town where we were meeting, so she picked this golden spot. This old mill is tucked away by Grant Park, now used as apartments- and of course an excellent photo backdrop with its patina and historic charm.
I have posted a few frames below. I used Porta 400 film on the Contax 645 to produce these images. For one of my first rounds of medium format, I am pleased with the outcome! I am also so grateful to Brittany for that too, of course (she climbed roofs for me, carried perfect poise, she's the best).
